Tennessee Forestry Commission to Meet

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Forestry Commission will meet Dec. 18 at the Natchez Trace State Park and Forest in Wildersville, Tenn.

The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. CST at the Pin Oak Lodge.

The agenda includes an overview of the morning field trip to examine the pine resource at Natchez Trace State Forest, a presentation and discussion by the pine subcommittee, the budget reduction plan and the date for the next meeting. The meeting is open to the public.

The Tennessee Forestry Commission comprises seven members representing the public’s interests as they relate to forest resources in the state. The commission advises the Tennessee Department of Agriculture on forest issues. For more information, contact TDA’s Division of Forestry at 615-837-5520.
