NASHVILLE— Pick Tennessee Products will be at the Franklin Farmers Market for a special media day Saturday, July 25. Media will have access to the market’s vendors and farmers for interviews, and the market area will provide colorful images and video.

The market will celebrate with a tasting event to promote “Eating In Season,” a cookbook created by the Franklin market community to help customers learn how to find and cook fresh local produce during harvest time.  Samples of recipes from the cookbook to be offered include a local berry cobbler and ratatouille, a vegetable dish.

At the Growing Kids Educational Garden booth, children can pick up a free pack of zinnia seeds. Growing Kids is a project of the Franklin market which offers free classes designed for children in kindergarten through 4th grade.
