Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee to Meet

NASHVILLE—The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee will meet March 24 at 9 a.m. CDT in the Porter Building on the campus of Ellington Agricultural Center, located at 436 Hogan Road in Nashville, Tenn.

The agenda includes approval of the previous meeting minutes, a report by the Southeast United Dairy Industry Association on programs, a review of the TDPC 2015 audit and financial information and approval of proposed promotion programming. The meeting is open to the public. 

The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee comprises 11 members directly affected by the assessment paid by dairy producers for the promotion of milk and milk products. Membership is in proportion to the method of milk marketed either through agricultural dairy cooperatives or by direct sale.
