Tennessee Forestry Commission to Meet

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Forestry Commission will meet April 27 at the Ellington Agricultural Center in Nashville, Tenn.

The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. CDT in the conference room of the Bruer Building.

The agenda includes a review of the previous meeting’s minutes, approval of seedling prices and amounts and consideration of demand, an overview of reforestation financials and discussion of the reforestation program. Lunch will be provided. The meeting is open to the public.

The Tennessee Forestry Commission comprises seven members representing the public’s interests as they relate to forest resources in the state. The commission advises the Tennessee Department of Agriculture on forest issues. For more information, contact TDA’s Division of Forestry at 615-837-5520.
