Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee to Meet

NASHVILLE—The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee will meet June 22 at 9:30 a.m. CDT in the Porter Building on the campus of Ellington Agricultural Center, located at 436 Hogan Road in Nashville, Tenn.

Some or all of the committee members may participate electronically via telephone conference call.

The agenda includes approval of the previous meeting minutes, discussion and a vote on proposals to host Great American Milk Drive events across Tennessee and a point-of-sale dairy retail campaign. The meeting is open to the public. 

The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee comprises 11 members directly affected by the assessment paid by dairy producers for the promotion of milk and milk products. Membership is in proportion to the method of milk marketed either through agricultural dairy cooperatives or by direct sale.
