Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee to Meet

NASHVILLE—The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee will meet Nov. 15 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. CST at the Holiday Inn Express, located at 1228 Bunker Hill Rd. in Cookeville, Tenn.

The agenda includes approval of the previous meeting’s minutes, review of financial information, dairy promotion program reports, election of officers and approval of contract considerations for 2018. The meeting is open to the public.

The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee comprises 11 members directly affected by the assessment paid by dairy producers for the promotion of milk and milk products. Membership is in proportion to the method of milk marketed either through agricultural dairy cooperatives or by direct sale.
