Hunt Eggs, Hug Lambs, Meet the Easter Bunny on a Local Farm

NASHVILLE — It’s natural to think about visiting a farm this time of year to find fresh eggs, lambs and even bunnies. For the next few weeks, however, farm visitors are likely to find a very special bunny—the Easter Bunny—plus special Easter activities.

Almost all farms with Easter activities include egg hunts and baby farm animals, but beyond those seasonal staples, every farm creates something unique. At Deep Well Farm near Lenoir City, not only do Easter visitors enjoy the farm’s regular roster of wagon rides, playgrounds and farm animals, but each family receives a free ticket to return to the farm for fall fun.

Lucky Ladd Farm in Eagleville holds a breakfast event with the Easter Bunny which includes a craft station and “baby animal ambassadors.”

Near Jackson, Falcon Ridge Farm delivers visitors by wagon ride to an egg hunting area where thousands of eggs are hidden. Their website reminds visitors to bring Easter baskets. In addition to the farm’s Easter offerings, extras like pony rides and refreshments are easy to include in the day’s adventure. 

Some on-farm Easter activities, like photo opportunities or breakfast with the Easter Bunny, have limited space for visitors. Many require advance registration and are conducted separately from a farm’s regular hours of operation, so be sure to check farm websites to find out exactly when Easter-themed activities will be held and how to attend them.
