Tennessee Forestry Commission to Meet

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Forestry Commission will meet April 16 at 1 p.m. CDT in the Cumberland - Room B of the Art Circle Library located at 3 East Street in Crossville, Tenn.

The agenda includes approval of minutes from the prior meeting, a seedling rate schedule presentation, fire equipment update, discussion of new legislation, state forest timber management update, Tennessee Wood Products branding, recommendation for commission secretary, and dates and logistics for remaining 2018 scheduled meetings.

The meeting is open to the public.

The Tennessee Forestry Commission comprises seven members representing the public’s interests as they relate to forest resources in the state.
