Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee to Meet

NASHVILLE—The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee will meet Oct. 24 at 2 p.m. CDT for member orientation and reconvene on Oct. 25 at 9:30 a.m. CDT for core business at the Holiday Inn Express, located at 1228 Bunker Hill Road in Cookeville, Tenn.

The Oct. 24 meeting agenda includes committee member orientation and a planning session. The Oct. 25 meeting agenda includes approval of the previous meeting minutes, dairy promotion program reports, a review of the committee’s financials, election of committee officers, and approval of contract considerations for 2020. The meetings are open to the public.

The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee comprises 11 members directly affected by the assessment paid by dairy producers for the promotion of milk and milk products. Membership is in proportion to the method of milk marketed either through agricultural dairy cooperatives or by direct sale.
