Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee to Meet

NASHVILLE—The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee will meet March 21 at 5 p.m. CDT and March 22 at 9 a.m. CDT in the Rutherford Meeting Room of the Residence Inn by Mariott, located at 1409 Conference Center Blvd. in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

The agenda includes approval of the previous meeting minutes, a program report by The Dairy Alliance, a discussion and vote on proposed 2019 programs, a grant program update, and a review of the committee’s financials and promotion program plans. The meeting is open to the public.

The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee comprises 11 members directly affected by the assessment paid by dairy producers for the promotion of milk and milk products. Membership is in proportion to the method of milk marketed either through agricultural dairy cooperatives or by direct sale.
