Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee to Meet

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee will meet Oct. 15, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. CDT at the James A Ward Ag Center (West Building) located at 945 E Baddour Pkwy. in Lebanon, Tenn.

The meeting is open to the public to attend and will be conducted permitting members to participate by electronic or other means of communication. Instructions and alternative methods of communication are included below.

The agenda includes approval of the previous meeting’s minutes, a review of committee finances, dairy promotion program reports, election of committee officers, and approval of contract considerations for 2021.

The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee comprises 11 members directly affected by the assessment paid by dairy producers for the promotion of milk and milk products. Membership is in proportion to the method of milk marketed either through agricultural dairy cooperatives or by direct sale.
