Tennessee Forestry Commission to Meet

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Forestry Commission will meet Jan. 12, 2021 at Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, Tenn.

The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. CDT in the Clement meeting room 1A at the park located at 1020 Jackson Hill Rd.

The meeting is open to the public to attend with all Commission members planning to attend in person.

The agenda includes approval of the previous meeting’s minutes, budget discussion, timber sales review, annual report review, and program updates.

Future Commission Meetings:

·      April 6, 2021 - Approve Nursery seedling pricing/production and appoint sub-committee to nominate Commission officers.  (first Tuesday in April).

·      June 9, 2021 - Approval of Commission officers.  (Second Wednesday in June).

·      September 8, 2021 - Approve Division budget. (first Wednesday in September).

·      January 10, 2022 – Discuss budget, timber sales (second Tuesday in January)
