Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee to Meet

NASHVILLE –The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee will meet March 12, 2020 at the Ellington Agricultural Center in Nashville, Tenn.

The meeting will begin at 3 p.m. CDT in the Moss Administration Building located at 440 Hogan Road. The Committee will reconvene the next morning, March 13, at 9 a.m. CDT.

The meeting is open to the public to attend. The meeting will be conducted permitting members to participate by electronic or other means of communication.

The agenda includes approval of the previous meeting minutes, project reports on recent promotional activities, a review of the committee’s financials, and a discussion and vote on the proposed 2020 programs.

The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee comprises 11 members directly affected by the assessment paid by dairy producers for the promotion of milk and milk products. Membership is in proportion to the method of milk marketed either through agricultural dairy cooperatives or by direct sale.
