Description | This Social Media Digital Threats class is based on the idea that we have entered this realm of the digital era and actors are using this venue to commit felonies by threatening our schools, places of business and individuals. This class will teach attendees how to track these threats back to the device they were sent from; therefore, locating the actor who published the threat. This class will also discuss tracking suicidal subjects, homicidal subjects and others who have committed heinous crimes where the public at large is in danger IE exigent situation. We will discuss the ways technology can assist in locating these subjects quickly. |

Materials | Laptop computer is required complete with Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 or higher and WiFi capability. Student may also bring a flashdrive/thumbdrive. |
