The State of Tennessee’s response to the corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic emergency is rapidly evolving, and Governor Bill Lee has called upon all Tennesseans to work together to battle the spread of the virus, including employers and employees alike.  These are unprecedented events, and we ask for your patience as we work to protect your health and the health of the general public while ensuring that we continue to fulfill our mission and provide excellent customer service.

Executive Order No. 17 is amended by Executive Order No. 21 and requires closure of non-essential businesses for public use, stating that these businesses shall not be open for access or use by the public or its members.  Businesses or organizations that require close-contact personal services must close, and such businesses include, but are not limited to: barber shops, hair salons, waxing salons, nail salons or spas, or spas providing body treatments.  This order is effective immediately and shall remain in effect until 11:59 p.m., Central Daylight Time, on Thursday, April 30, 2020.

In addition, Governor Lee announced on April 13, 2020 that Executive Order No. 22 (Stay at Home Order), previously amended by Executive Order No. 23, will be further amended to require Tennesseans to “stay home unless they are engaging in essential activity or essential services” through the month of April.  The Stay at Home order was previously ordered to end Tuesday, April 14, 2020.  This Stay at Home Order will be extended and shall remain in effect until 11:59 p.m., Central Daylight Time, on Thursday, April 30, 2020.

Please note that local county and city municipalities may have directives or mandates which provide for any additional restrictions.  Contact your local county or city authorities for any additional information.
