Tennessee Transfer & GenEd Convening 2024
The Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) will be convening campus representatives across Tennessee public universities, community colleges, and technical colleges to share best practices in the transfer initiatives and general education.
The theme "Advancing Student-Centered Transfer and General Education" will feature sessions covering topics such as:
1. Maximizing transfer credit
2. General education redesign
3. Transfer success and barriers
4. The value of general education
The convening will take place on Wednesday, October 30 from 8:00 - 4:00 pm CST in downtown Nashville at the Tennessee Tower (312 Rosa L. Parks Avenue, Nashville, TN 37243).
