CLARKSVILLE – Last week, the Tennessee Department of Correction and several supporting agencies conducted an intensive vehicle search in the parking lot of our Middle Tennessee Community Supervision offices.  This state-wide operation is named “Operation: Clean Up” and resulted in the search of more than 600 vehicles with 360 of the searches being done here in Middle Tennessee.

This regional sweep was very successful resulting in 16 arrests and the issuance of more than 59 citations.  This operation illustrates TDOC’s commitment to the community by ensuring that the offenders on community supervision are held accountable for their actions.

TDOC’s Probation and Parole Officers, Strike Force and K-9 units led this massive undertaking.  In addition, the Department would like to thank the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office, the Metro Police Department and the Clarksville Police Department for their collaboration.
