David McNish Dies At Age 63

NASHVILLE – Death Row inmate David McNish has passed away at the age of 63.  McNish was found unresponsive at 5:55 a.m. this morning by medical staff at the Riverbend Maximum Security Institution infirmary and appears to have died of natural causes pending final medical assessment by coroner.

McNish was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to death in Carter County in 1984.
