TDOC and Community Partners To Hold Resource Fair

WARTBURG – The Tennessee Department of Correction is partnering with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, along with Morgan County and Knoxville area businesses and organizations, to hold a resource and information fair for offenders soon to be released from the Morgan County Correctional Complex. Over 30 organizations will be on hand to provide information and assistance with job placement, education, health care and faith-based community support.

Reducing the recidivism rate through evidence-based programs and continued supports after an offender’s release from prison is a part of the Tennessee Department of Correction’s ongoing mission to ensure and increase the safety of the public.
