Rutherford County Community Resource Center Job Fair

Tuesday, May 01, 2018 | 01:56pm

MURFREESBORO – In an effort to assist the offender population of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County, the Murfreesboro Day Reporting and Community Resource Center (DRC/CRC) will be holding a career fair on Friday, May 25th.  According to Richard A. Boyd, Director of the Murfreesboro DRC/CRC, “Finding and securing a job is an incredible hurdle that offenders and those with criminal records face.”

Employers will be present to help individuals with a criminal record bridge the gap and find gainful employment.  In addition, representatives from post-secondary education will be on hand to assist former felons with creating paths to higher education and finding available funding to help ensure their success.

Offenders currently serving on probation or parole, as well as ex-felons, are encouraged to attend the event.  There are a few spaces left for employers to take part in the career fair.  If interested, please call 615-907-4525.
