TULLAHOMA – After two weeks of training, TDOC welcomed a new class of Sergeant's into our workforce. Friday, the Tennessee Correction Academy graduated 23 people from our 26th Sergeant's Academy. Warden James Holloway from the DeBerry Special Needs Facility was the keynote speaker at the graduation.
During the ceremony, there was a special moment, when the graduating class and several TDOC staff members presented the family of Kaiden Ott with a headstone to honor the four year old who died in June after battling heart defects since birth. They came up with the idea after learning of his story and how he impacted the local community in Tullahoma.
