MURFREESBORO - On Thursday, June 7, 2019, the Murfreesboro Day Reporting Center (DRC) celebrated its first graduating class.

A total of four participants were honored for completing the three-phase intensive, substance abuse treatment program, marking almost one year of sobriety for each respectively.

Rutherford County Circuit Court Judge Royce Taylor provided the keynote address encouraging the graduates as they embark on a new chapter in their lives saying in part, "One of the most important things you’ve done as a group is helping the others who are coming along."

Since opening last year, the Murfreesboro DRC program has provided tailored treatment to each participant and utilizes evidence-based programs taking twelve months to complete.
