Haslam Announces Reward in Clarksville Murder Case

NASHVILLE — Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam today announced a $15,000 reward from the state for information on the shooting death of 2-year-old Joseph Bankston on October 4 in Clarksville.

“We want to bring whoever did this to justice, and if anyone has information that may help solve this case, we need them to come forward,” Haslam said.

The state reward of $15,000 is for information leading to the apprehension, arrest and conviction of the person or persons who have committed, attempted to commit or conspired to commit the murder of Joseph Bankston.

Brandon Jiminez, an adult, was shot and is currently in critical condition. Two-year-old Joseph Bankston was intentionally shot and died at the scene.

The Clarksville Police Department has processed the crime scene and is awaiting any evidence that may link the crime to a suspect.
