NASHVILLE – The May 17 public listening session of the Certificate of Public Advantage Index Advisory Group has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 31. The date change was requested by the COPA Index Advisory Group to permit additional time for work on measures to be considered for an index. Should a COPA be granted, this index would track advantages and disadvantages of the proposed merger between Mountain States Health Alliance and Wellmont Health System.

The May 31 meeting is set to begin 5:30 p.m. Eastern time in the Sullivan County Health Department, located at 154 Blountville Bypass, Blountville. During this meeting the Advisory Group will present the proposed COPA Index and receive comments.
