Public Hearing on Request for Certificate of Public Advantage July 18

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Health will conduct a public hearing Tuesday, July 18, to provide the general public and any interested stakeholders an opportunity to offer comments on the application for a Certificate of Public Advantage from Mountain States Health Alliance and Wellmont Health System regarding their proposed cooperative agreement to merge. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. Eastern time in the Northeast State Community College auditorium, located at 2425 Highway 75 in Blountville.

Those who wish to provide comments or suggestions may sign in upon entering the center’s auditorium and will speak in order of signing. Each individual will be provided three minutes to deliver his or her remarks. Those who are unable to attend the hearing or prefer not to speak in public may provide input by email or regular mail to tn.health@tn.gov or to the Tennessee Department of Health – COPA, 710 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, TN 37243.
