Media Advisory Olin Chlor Alkali in Charleston to Receive Workplace Safety Award

NASHVILLE – Olin Chlor-Alkali in Charleston will receive the Volunteer STAR (Safety Through Accountability and Recognition) award on Thursday, November 9, at 11:00 a.m. (EST). The ceremony will take place at the facility located at 1186 Lower River Road in Charleston. Olin Chlor-Alkali Products manufactures chlorine, sodium hydroxide (i.e., caustic soda), and other alkalis using an electrolysis process. This is the second time the company has earned Volunteer STAR status.
