MEDIA ADVISORY: THP Participates in Project Blue Light Ceremony

NASHVILLE --- Members of the Tennessee Highway Patrol will be participating in the 8th Annual Project Blue Light Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 22. The event is hosted by Middle and East Tennessee chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) and is a time for the community to come together to honor law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line everyday to protect the public. It is also a time to remember fallen officers who made the ultimate sacrifice for their communities.

C.O.P.S. is made up of more than 15,000 surviving families. This holiday season, the organization is once again asking citizens to display a blue light in their holiday decorations or windows to show support for local law enforcement agencies.
