INFO: The department will host a press conference for members of the media planning to cover the Report Card release in our office on the 6th floor of the Andrew Johnson Tower. All Davidson County media are encouraged to attend in person to allow other media outlets to participate by phone. Reporters must register to participate in the call and receive the call-in information. Space is limited. To register to participate by phone, email Rachel.Woods@state.tn.us .

Please note that state offices will be closed Tuesday, November 11, the day after the Report Card release, in observation of Veteran’s Day and department officials will not be available.

This press conference will provide important information and the opportunity to ask questions about the 2008 Report Card. Access to the 2008 Report Card will be available at our website Monday prior to the press conference here: http://state.tn.us/education/reportcard
