MEDIA ADVISORY: THP Cadet Graduation

NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Department of Safety welcomes Cadet Class 1208 of Tennessee Highway Patrol Troopers to its ranks with a graduation exercise on Friday, December 12, at 11:00 a.m.   The event will be held at Two Rivers Baptist Church, 2800 McGavock Pike in Nashville. Safety Commissioner Dave Mitchell will be the keynote speaker.
 
Media wishing to cover the event should be in place by 10:45am. Staging will be at the back of the church sanctuary.

There are 39 members of Cadet Class 1208. Twenty of them have previous law enforcement experience, and fourteen were members of the military. The class motto is “We came as many, we left as one.”
