What: Working Together for Success is the theme of the 2008 Special Education Conference

When: Wednesday, Feb. 27 through Friday, Feb. 29

The annual event will feature presentations and breakout sessions on autism, inclusion of students into the general education classroom, parental involvement, behavior management, gifted education, pre-K education and more. The two featured speakers at this years conference are David Weber and Ed Zacarro, a specialist in mathematics instruction for gifted children. Special education staff from districts across Tennessee will be attending this conference. Educators will have the opportunity to receive professional development TASL credit. Awards for exemplary local programs will be given on the last day of the conference.
