Tennessee Department of Health announces that the suspension of admissions at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation for Ardmore nursing home has been lifted effective May 7, 2008. The facility is a 79-bed licensed nursing home located at 25385 Main Street in Ardmore. The Department confirmed the facility has returned to substantial compliance for state licensing purposes, and the deficient practices and conditions have been corrected as stated in the facility’s plan of correction, which was approved by federal and state authorities.

On May 1, the nursing home was ordered not to admit any new residents based on conditions found during a complaint investigation and annual survey conducted April 1 through April 18. During the investigation, surveyors found violations of the following standards: resident protection, administration, quality assurance, physician services, performance improvement, nursing services, pharmacy services, and medication administration.
