DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)
       Twin Street and Snyder Avenue will be closed starting Monday, October 5, 2009. Traffic will be detoured to Stevenson Street. Only local traffic will be allowed on Twin Street.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from Charlotte Pike to Westboro Dr:(Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday October 1 through Wednesday October 7, 8PM-5AM, (excluding Sunday) There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions in order to install permanent pavement markings. One lane will remain open.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from US 70S to Charlotte Pike:(Recovery Act Project)
       Sunday October 4 through Wednesday October 7, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions in order to mill and pave the roadway. One lane will remain open.
 
REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:
       Thursday October 1 through Wednesday October 7, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson County for guardrail repair and installation.                     
       Thursday October 1 through Wednesday October 7, 9AM-4PM, There will be various shoulder closures in Middle Tennessee on state routes for guardrail repair and installation.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of an Overhead Sign on I-40 (Lu, Inc.)
       Thursday October 1 through Wednesday October 7, 8PM-5AM, There will be one lane of I-40 eastbound and westbound closed at MM 209 in order to place barrier rail and prepare for new sign foundation. Two lanes will remain open.
 
REGION 3, Installation of Cable Barrier:
       Sunday October 4 through Thursday October 8, 8PM-6AM, each night, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound in Coffee County from MM 103 to MM 105 in order to install cable barrier. One lane will remain open.
 
DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
       Thursday October 1 through Wednesday October 7, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM. There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
o    Briley Parkway, both directions between I-40 and Centennial Blvd (MM 6 to MM 27)
o    I-24, both directions between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Road (MM 40 to MM 61)
o    I-40, both directions between US-70 and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 196 to MM 222)
o    I-65, both directions between Concord Rd and Long Hollow Pike (MM 70 to MM 97)
o    I-440, both directions between Hillsboro Pike and I-24 (MM 3 to MM 7)
o    Ellington Parkway, both directions between Briley Pkwy and Spring Street
       Thursday October 1 through Wednesday October 7, 8PM-5AM, There will be periodic short term night time lane closures at the following locations to install device foundations, DMS foundation installation, and shoulder paving.
o    Briley Pkwy, both directions, between Elm Hill Pike and Brick Church Pike, (MM 7 to MM 27), 3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for structures and shoulder work).
o    I-40, both directions, between the I-24 Interchange and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 213 to MM 222), 3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation).
o    I-40, Westbound, between Memphis Bristol (US70) and east of Charlotte Pike (MM 196 to MM 203), 2 lanes remain open. (multiple locations for foundation installation).
o    I-40, both directions, between Donnelson Pike and Briley Pkwy (MM 216 to MM 215).
    • Friday October 2nd 8pm to Monday October 5th 6am, 1 left lane in both directions, 4 lanes to remain open.
    • I-65, both directions, between Concord Rd and the I-440 Interchange (MM 71 to MM 80), 2-3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation).
    • I-24, both directions, between the I-440 Interchange and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 52 and MM 62), 2-3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation.)
       Saturday October 1 at 11AM to October 4 9AM, There will be periodic road closures to install DMS signs over the highway at the following locations:
o    Briley Pkwy, Northbound, MM 28 (south of Centennial Blvd)
o    Briley Pkwy, Eastbound, MM 18.5 (between Whites Creek and I-24)
o    Briley Pkwy, Eastbound, MM 13 (south of Cumberland River)
o    Briley Pkwy, Northbound, MM 9 (south of Two Rivers Pkwy)
 
REGION 3 Retracing of Painted Markings on Interstate and State Routes
       Thursday October 1 through Thursday October 8, 8AM-5PM each day, There will be various rolling closures in Cheatham, Dickson, Montgomery, Robertson, Davidson and Williamson Counties on State Routes in order to retrace pavement marking.
 
REGION 3 Relensing of Snowplowable Markers on various Interstate and State Routes
       Thursday October 1 through Wednesday October 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be mobile lane closures at the following locations in order to replace snowplowable markers.
o    Robertson I-24 MM 18 to 29
o    Robertson I-65 MM 104 to Kentucky State Line
o    Wilson I-40 MM 226 to 250
o    Hickman I-40 MM 148 to 156
o    Davidson SR 386 MM 0 to 2.34
o    Davidson I-40 Demonbreun to I-65 MM 90A & 96 to 98
o    Cheatham I-40 MM 184 to 192
o    Montgomery I-24 MM 0 to 17.2
 
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Concord Rd. from Sunset Rd. to Edmondson Pike
       Wednesday September 30 through Wednesday October 7, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures from Crockett Rd. to Sunset Rd. in order to clear the right of way and perform excavation. Flaggers will be utilized for this operation.
 
WILSON COUNTY, SR 109 from I-40 to S.R. 24
       Thursday October 1 and Friday October 2, 9AM-3PM , There will be various lane closures on SR 109 at the intersection of Leeville Pike/Eastgate Blvd for the purpose of installing signal heads on the new traffic signal aerial cables. Two through lanes will remain open on SR 109.
 
SMITH COUNTY - I-40 from SR 53 to the Putnam Co. line: (Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday October 1 through Wednesday October 7, 7PM-6AM, One lane of I-40 eastbound and westbound will be closed in order to install snowplowable markers and permanent striping on the roadway.. One lane will remain open in each direction.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
Davidson County
       Thursday October 1 through Wednesday October 7, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Davidson County in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
       Thursday October 1 through Wednesday October 7, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.
       Thursday October 1 through Wednesday October 7, 7PM-5AM, There will be various lane closures on I-65 both directions between Dickerson Road and Trinity Lane to repair areas of the roadway.
       Thursday October 1, 7PM-11PM, I-24 westbound from I-440 to Arlington overpass the left lane will be closed to remove debris from drainage. Three lanes will remain open.
Robertson Counties
       Thursday October 1 through Wednesday October 7, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be one lane closed on I-65 northbound and southbound in Robertson County between mile marker 112.0 and mile marker 114.0 in order to repair potholes.  One lane will remain open.
Dickson County
       Thursday October 1, 7PM-5AM, Alternating lane closures on I-40 westbound between mile marker 175 and 177 for milling and paving end of bridge all four lanes. One lane will remain open.
Hickman County
       Tuesday October 6, 7PM-5AM, Alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound between mile marker 162 and 163 for milling and paving ends of bridges. One lane will remain open.
 
THOMAS & ASSOCIATES: Thursday October 1 through Wednesday October 7, each day, 2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-24 eastbound and westbound near Waldron Rd. (Exit 64) for blasting. Local police officers will be utilized for this operation.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Utilities:  
       Sunday October 4, 7AM-9AM, On I-40 and Fessler Bridge Overpass, Davidson County.  This request, by N.E.S., is for adding one strand and fiber optic cable over I-40.  Two rolling stop blocks are expected.
       Monday October 5, through Friday October 9, 9AM-3PM, On SR-6, Franklin Road from Bradford Avenue for 3700' to Berry Road, Davidson County.  This request, by N.E.S. is for replacement of poles, anchors and conductor.  Various lane closures are expected throughout the day.
       Monday October 5, through Friday October 9, 9AM-3PM, On SR-254, Old Hickory Blvd. from Stone Brook Drive to Franklin Pike, Davidson County.  This request, from N.E.S., is for replacement of poles and anchors, transferring line.  Various lane closures are expected throughout the day.
       Sunday October 4, 6AM-6PM, On I-24 and Brick Church Lane overpass bridge, Davidson County.  This request, from N.E.S., is for replacing and adding eight new conductors over I-24.  Eight rolling stop blocks are expected.
 
Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.
