FAYETTEVILLE--- Adult mentors and excited young hunters will gather Oct. 30-31 in Lincoln County to once again hold a fundraising hunt to benefit children that most of the gathering sportsmen have never met, yet all have a desire to help.

Set for the weekend of the statewide youth deer hunt, the annual Kids Hunting For a Cure will raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Russel Hill Cancer Foundation.
The Matt Malone Memorial Chapter is sponsoring the Lincoln County Hunt.
Kids Hunting For a Cure is a non-profit organization “dedicated” to helping fund the development for cancer research and childhood diseases.

An auction that includes numerous products for sportsmen, young hunters meeting their mentor/guides, and an evening meal will be among attractions that begin the Friday-Saturday event at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Fayetteville.

The hunt will begin early Saturday, although additional activities for kids will be held between 9 and 11:30 a.m. during the day. Lunch will be available between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. A concert is set for 5 p.m. to help conclude the event.
