DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday October 15 through Wednesday October 21, 8AM-3PM, On the I-40 Westbound on-ramp at White Bridge flagging of traffic will occur to allow construction trucks to enter and exit the work zone. Traffic will be stopped only long enough for trucks to enter or exit the work zone. Flagging operations will be occurring throughout the day.
       Twin Street and Snyder Avenue will be closed starting Monday, October 5, 2009. Traffic will be detoured to Stevenson Street. Only local traffic will be allowed on Twin Street.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Concrete Rehabilitation:(Recovery Act Project)
       Friday October 16, 8PM through Monday October 19, 6AM, I-440 eastbound will be closed from I-40 to I-65 for concrete repairs.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from US 70S to Charlotte Pike:(Recovery Act Project)
       Thursday October 15 through Wednesday October 21, 8PM-5AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions in order to mill and pave the roadway. One lane will remain open.
 
REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:
       Thursday October 15 through Wednesday October 21, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Rutherford, Dickson, Giles, Robertson, and Williamson Counties for guardrail repair and installation.                     
       Thursday October 15 through Wednesday October 21, 9AM-4PM, There will be various shoulder closures in Middle Tennessee on state routes for guardrail repair and installation.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of an Overhead Sign on I-40 (Lu, Inc.)
       Thursday October 15 through Wednesday October 21, 8PM-5AM, (excluding weekends), There will be one lane of I-40 eastbound and westbound closed at MM 209 in order to prepare for new sign foundation. Two lanes will remain open.
 
REGION 3, Installation of Cable Barrier:
       Sunday October 18 through Thursday October 22, 8PM-6AM, each night, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound in Coffee County from MM 103 to MM 105 in order to install cable barrier. One lane will remain open.
 
REGION 3, Attenuator Upgrade
       Thursday October 15, 12 Midnight-5AM, There will be one lane closed in each direction on Thompson Lane at the railroad tunnel for attenuator work.
 
 
DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
       Thursday October 15 through Wednesday October 21, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM. There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
o    Briley Parkway, both directions between I-40 and Centennial Blvd (MM 6 to MM 27)
o    I-24, both directions between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Road (MM 40 to MM 61)
o    I-40, both directions between US-70 and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 196 to MM 222)
o    I-65, both directions between Concord Rd and Long Hollow Pike (MM 70 to MM 97)
o    I-440, both directions between Hillsboro Pike and I-24 (MM 3 to MM 7)
o    Ellington Parkway, both directions between Briley Pkwy and Spring Street
       Thursday October 15 through Wednesday October 21, 8PM-5AM, There will be periodic short term night time lane closures at the following locations to install device foundations, DMS foundation installation, and shoulder paving.
o    Briley Pkwy, both directions, between Elm Hill Pike and Brick Church Pike, (MM 7 to MM 27), 3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for structures and shoulder work).
o    I-40, both directions, between the I-24 Interchange and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 213 to MM 222), 3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation).
o    I-40, Westbound, between Memphis Bristol (US70) and east of Charlotte Pike (MM 196 to MM 203), 2 lanes remain open. (multiple locations for foundation installation).
o    I-40, both directions, between Donnelson Pike and Briley Pkwy (MM 216 to MM 215).
    • Friday October 9th 8pm to Monday October 12th 6am, 1 left lane in both directions, 4 lanes to remain open.
    • I-65, both directions, between Concord Rd and the I-440 Interchange (MM 71 to MM 80), 2-3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation).
    • I-24, both directions, between the I-440 Interchange and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 52 and MM 62), 2-3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation.)
       Saturday and Sunday, 6AM-12PM, Request for daytime lane closure on I-65 to set 50’ poles in the following location.
    • I-65 SB, South of Harding Place (MM 77-78)
    • I-65 NB, South of Harding Place (MM 76-77)
    • I-65 NB, North of Old Hickory Blvd (MM 75-76)
    • I-65 NB, South of Old Hickory Blvd (MM 73-74)
       Road Closures: October 17th 11pm to October 18th 9am (if rained out, repeat October 24th), periodic road closures to install DMS signs over the highway at the following locations:
o    Briley Pkwy, Northbound, MM 13 (north of McGavok Pike before the river)
o    I-40, Westbound, MM 202.5, (West of White Bridge Rd)
o    I-40, Eastbound, MM 198, (West of Old Hickory Blvd)
 
REGION 3 Retracing of Painted Markings on Interstate and State Routes
       Thursday October 15 through Thursday October 22, 8AM-5PM each day, There will be various rolling closures in Cheatham, Dickson, Montgomery, Robertson, Davidson and Williamson Counties on State Routes in order to retrace pavement marking.
 
REGION 3 Relensing of Snowplowable Markers on various Interstate and State Routes
       Thursday October 15 through Wednesday October 21, 8PM-6AM, There will be mobile lane closures at the following locations in order to replace snowplowable markers.
o    Robertson I-65 MM 104 to Kentucky State Line
o    Sumner SR 386 MM 0 to 6.8
o    Marshall I-65 MM 22.7 to 35.5
o    Maury I-65 MM 35.5 to 53.1
o    Williamson I-65 MM 53.1 to 69.4
o    Williamson SR 396 MM 0 to 5.2
 
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Concord Rd. from Sunset Rd. to Edmondson Pike
       Thursday October 15 through Wednesday October 21, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures from Crockett Rd. to Sunset Rd. in order to clear the right of way and perform excavation. Also, possible one lane closures from Edmondson Pike to Liberty Church Pike for water line installation. Trucks will be entering and leaving the roadway. Flaggers will be utilized for these operations.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
Davidson County
       Thursday October 15 through Wednesday October 21, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Davidson County in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
       Thursday October 15 through Wednesday October 21, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.
       Thursday October 15 through Wednesday October 21, 7PM-5AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various lane closures on I-65 both directions between Dickerson Road and Trinity Lane to repair areas of the roadway.
Smith County
       Thursday October 15, 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed on I-40 eastbound in Smith County at mile marker 254 in order to install a French drain pipe.  One lane will remain open.
Robertson County
       Thursday October 15 through Wednesday October 21, 8PM-6AM, (excluding weekends), There will be one lane closed on I-65 northbound and southbound in Robertson County between mile marker 112.0 and mile marker 114.0 in order to mill and pave to repair potholes.  One lane will remain open.
Rutherford County
       Thursday October 15, 7PM-12AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 westbound in Rutherford County between mile marker 73 and mile marker 74 in order to patch potholes.  One lane will remain open.
 
TDOT Bridge Repair
Davidson County
       Tuesday October 20, 8PM-5AM, Two right lanes on I-24 westbound at exit 47 (Spring Street) between mile marker 46.6 and 47.2 will be closed for bridge deck repair. One lane will remain open on I-24 and the ramp to Spring Street will remain open.
 
THOMAS & ASSOCIATES: Thursday October 15 through Wednesday October 21, each day, 2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-24 eastbound and westbound near Waldron Rd. (Exit 64) for blasting. Local police officers will be utilized for this operation.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Utilities:  
       Monday October 19 through Friday October 23, 9AM-3PM, On SR-6, Franklin Road from Bradford Avenue for 3700' to Berry Road, Davidson County.  This request, by N.E.S. is for replacement of poles, anchors and conductor.  Various lane closures are expected throughout the day.
       Monday October 19 through Friday October 23, 9AM-3PM, On SR-254, Old Hickory Blvd. from Stone Brook Drive to Franklin Pike, Davidson County.  This request, from N.E.S., is for replacement of poles and anchors, transferring line.  Various lane closures are expected throughout the day.
       Monday October 19 through Thursday October 22, 7PM-6AM, On SR-106 Hillsboro Pike, approximately 1,125' southwest of Tyne Blvd., Davidson County.  This request, by Garney Construction Co., is for installation of 10" altitude valve for Seven Hills water supply. Various lane closures are expected throughout the day.
       Tuesday October 20 through Thursday October 22,7PM-6AM, On I-40 W.B.L., on the outside lane at Arlington Avenue Overpass, Davidson County.  This request, by N.E.S., is to repair underground conduit for power cables serving interstate lighting.
       Sunday October 18, 7AM-3PM, On I-65 and Dickerson Pike Interchange, Davidson County.  This request, by N.E.S., is for adding a strand and fiber optic cable across I-65.  Two rolling stop blocks are expected.
 
       Sunday October 18,7AM-6PM, On I-65 and Old Hickory Blvd. exit in Brentwood, Davidson County.  This request, by N.E.S., is for transfers and adding fiber optic cable over I-65.  Eight rolling stop blocks are expected.
       Sunday October 18, 7AM-2PM, On I-40/Davidson Road, Davidson County.  This request, by N.E.S., is for transferring wires to new poles.  Four rolling stop blocks are expected.
       Sunday October 18, 7AM-8AM, On I-65, 1/4 mile North of Harding Road overpass, Davidson County.  This request, by N.E.S., is for dropping four conductors from existing utility poles.  One rolling stop block is expected.
       Thursday October 15 through Friday October 16 and Monday October 19 through Tuesday October 20, On SR-11 at 2189 Nolensville Road, Davidson County.  The request, by Piedmont Natural Gas, is to open-cut into the turning lane to install a 2" Gas Line under the roadway.
