TDOT to Hold Meeting on Proposed APD-40 Interchange in Cleveland

Chattanooga, Tenn. – The Tennessee Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting on Thursday, October 8, 2009, at the Cleveland-Bradley Chamber of Commerce located on 225 Keith Street Southwest in Cleveland, Tennessee.  The objective of this meeting is to discuss the proposed new interchange located on APD-40 (US-74, Cleveland By-Pass) approximately 0.6 miles east of the exit 20 interchange on I-75 and 0.9 miles west of the South Lee Highway (US-11/64) interchange in the city of Cleveland in Bradley County, Tennessee.

This meeting will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. to provide the public an opportunity to participate in the project development process.  A brief presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.  The public is invited to provide comments during the meeting and will be given the opportunity to make their opinions known concerning the purpose and need of the project as well as the potential alternatives for the proposed interchange.  Representatives of the department will be available to answer questions and provide information on various aspects of the project.
