TDOT to Release Details on US64 Rockslide in Polk County Clean-up

NASHVILLE – Tennessee Department of Transportation Commissioner Gerald Nicely will visit the U.S. 64 rockslide in Polk County, Tennessee on Monday, November 16 to release new details on clean-up of the major rockslide that closed U.S. 64. TDOT will announce a revised timeframe for clean-up and will introduce the emergency repair contractor. The contractor will be on site to answer questions and provide details on the clean-up process.  
 
Monday’s event will begin at 9:00 A.M. Eastern Time at the site of the rockslide on U.S. 64 in Polk County across from TVA Dam 2.
