TDOT to Announce Urgent Repairs to I-81 Bridges in Greene County

Knoxville, Tenn.—The Tennessee Department of Transportation will conduct a press conference in Greene County, Tuesday, November 10, 2009 to discuss urgent repairs to the I-81 north and southbound bridges over U.S. 11E at exit 23. The repairs will require the temporary closure of I-81, which is the official detour for the I-40 Rock Slide. TDOT Chief Engineer Paul Degges and staff will be on hand to explain the repairs and answer questions.
When: 10:00 a.m. ET, Tuesday, November 10, 2009
Where: Under the I-81 southbound bridge on U.S. 11E (exit 23) in Greene County
