TRAFFIC ALERT: I-40 In Fayette County Reduced to One Lane in Each Direction This Weekend

NASHVILLE – Tennessee Department of Transportation crews will reduce Interstate 40 to one lane in each direction between mile markers 34 and 36 beginning Friday, February 13 at 7:00 p.m. until Monday, February 16 at 5:00 a.m. Crews will be working to repair the bridge deck on the State Route 59 overpass. The State Route 59 overpass will be reduced to one lane with a temporary signal at the same time.
 
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes around this area such as US70 or US64.
