NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Health announces that the suspension of admissions at Hillcrest West nursing home has been lifted. The facility is a 194-bed licensed nursing home located at 6801 Middlebrook Pike in Knoxville.

The Department confirmed the facility has returned to substantial compliance for state licensing purposes, and the deficient practices and conditions have been corrected as stated in the facility’s plan of correction, which was approved by federal and state authorities.

On March 3, the nursing home was ordered not to admit any new residents based on conditions found during a complaint investigation conducted January 28 through February 23. During the survey, surveyors found violations of the following standards: performance improvement and nursing services.
