Bridge Repairs on I-24 in Rutherford County Will Require Weekend Lane Closures

NASHVILLE – Bridge repairs on Interstate 24 East in Rutherford County will require lane closures this weekend. The repairs will be taking place at Exit 70 (Almaville Road), and will begin Friday, June 26 at 8:00 p.m. The repairs are expected to be complete before 5:00 a.m. on Monday, June 29. During this period, only one eastbound lane will be open.
 
In addition to lane closures on I-24 East, flaggers will be directing traffic on Almaville Road during the repairs. Police will also be on hand to assist with traffic. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution as they travel through this work zone. TDOT will use its overhead and portable message boards on I-24 to alert motorists of the repair work. Drivers should expect delays.
