NASHVILLE --- Tennessee’s Wild Side has been named as the best outdoors television series in the country by the Association of Conservation Information, Inc. (ACI).

It marks the second time that the weekly 30-minute program received ACI’s top outdoors show award, the previous first place honor coming in 2005. Tennessee’s Wild Side is produced in partnership by TWRA and the Renaissance Center in Dickson.

The 30-minute program features the diversity of the outdoors. Tennessee’s Wild Side competed against similar shows from across the country. The announcement of the top award came at the ACI Conference which was held this year in Baton Rouge, La.

Tennessee’s Wild Side is broadcast by all PBS stations in Tennessee and Kentucky, and is streamed on-line at www.myoutdoortv.com. The show has also won numerous regional Emmy Awards in its nine-year run.
