DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project)
      Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, 10AM-10:15 AM and 1PM-1:15PM, Rolling roadblock for I-40 East bound and Westbound traffic for blasting operations on the south side of I-40 in the White Bridge Road area.  
      Thursday September 10 and Friday September 11; 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Piedmont Natural Gas will close the outside lane of White Bridge Road southbound to work on existing 6” gas line crossing White Bridge and tie over to new line. 
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from Charlotte Pike to Westboro Dr:(Recovery Act Project)
      Thursday September 10 and Friday September 11, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in order to mill and pave the roadway.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Concrete Pavement Repair on I-440:(Recovery Act Project)
      Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, 8PM-6AM, each night, There will be alternating lane closures on I-440 in both directions in order to remove permanent striping and repaint lines. One lane will remain open in each direction. Also, there will be alternating ramp closures to remove striping.
      Friday September 11, 8PM through Monday September 14, 6AM, I-440 westbound will be closed from I-65 to I-40 for concrete pavement rehabilitation.
 
REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:
      Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson County for guardrail repair and installation.
      Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, 9AM-4PM, There will be various shoulder closures in Middle Tennessee on state routes for guardrail repair and installation.
 
REGION 3 Attenuator Repair:
      Thursday September 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed at the following locations in order to repair damaged attenuators. Also, possible ramp lane closures in order to access damaged attenuator.
Davidson County-I-40 eastbound at the I-65 southbound split
Davidson County-I-40 westbound at the I-24 westbound split to Silliman Evans Bridge
 
 
 
 
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 12 (Rosa Parks) from I-65 to SR 112: (Recovery Act Project)
      Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, 8PM-6AM, (excluding weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to install permanent markings. One lane will remain open in each direction.
 
REGION 3, Installation of Cable Barrier:
      Monday September 14 through Thursday September 17, 8PM-6AM, each night, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 840 westbound and eastbound in Rutherford County from MM 57 to MM 61 in order to install cable barrier. One lane will remain open.
 
DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
      Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM. There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, perform electrical work, and pole installation.
o   Briley Parkway, both directions between I-40 and Centennial Blvd (MM 6 to MM 27)
o   I-24, both directions between Old Hickory Blvd and Bell Road (MM 40 to MM 61)
o   I-40, both directions between US-70 and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 196 to MM 222)
o   I-65, both directions between Concord Rd and Long Hollow Pike (MM 70 to MM 97)
o   I-440, both directions between Hillsboro Pike and I-24 (MM 3 to MM 7)
o   Ellington Parkway, both directions between Briley Pkwy and Spring Street
      Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, 8PM-5AM, There will be periodic short term night time lane closures at the following locations to install device foundations, DMS foundation installation, and shoulder paving.
o   Briley Pkwy, both directions, between Elm Hill Pike and Brick Church Pike, (MM 7 to MM 27), 3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for structures and shoulder work).
o   Briley Pkwy, Southbound, between Two Rivers and Lebanon (MM 9 to MM 8)
Friday at 8pm to Monday at 6am, one right lane closed.
    • Briley Pkwy, road closures, Saturday September 12th at 11pm to Sunday September 13th at 9am, following locations for DMS installations
Briley Pkwy Westbound, West of the I-24 Interchange (MM 18)
Briley Pkwy Eastbound, East of Whites Creek (MM 19)
Briley Pkwy Southbound, south of County Hospital Rd (MM 26)
    • I-40, both directions, between the I-24 Interchange and Old Hickory Blvd (MM 213 to MM 222), 3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation).
    • I-40, Westbound, between Memphis Bristol (US70) and east of Charlotte Pike (MM 196 to MM 203), 2 lanes remain open. (multiple locations for foundation installation).
    • I-65, both directions, between Concord Rd and the I-440 Interchange (MM 71 to MM 80), 2-3 lanes remain open (multiple locations for foundation installation).
 
REGION 3 Retracing of Painted Markings on Interstate and State Routes
      Thursday September 10 through Thursday September 17, 8AM-5PM each night,There will be various rolling closures in Cheatham, Dickson, Montgomery, Robertson, Davidson and Williamson Counties on State Routes in order to retrace pavement marking.
 
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Concord Rd. from Sunset Rd. to Edmondson Pike
      Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures from Crockett Rd. to Sunset Rd. in order to clear the right of way. Flaggers will be utilized for this operation.
 
WILSON COUNTY - S.R. 109 from I-40 to S.R. 24 
      Thursday September 10 and Tuesday September 15, 12 Noon-1PM, There will be lane interruptions for blasting both directions of SR 109 at Hickory Ridge Road. Traffic will be stopped for the blast, and maybe delayed up to 15 minutes to remove debris, if necessary.
 
 
 
SMITH COUNTY - I-40 from SR 53 to the Putnam Co. line: (Recovery Act Project)
      Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, 7PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), One lane of I-40 eastbound and westbound will be closed in order to remove snowplowable markers and to mill and pave the roadway. One lane will remain open in each direction.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
Davidson County
      Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Davidson County in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
      Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.
      Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, 7PM-5AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various lane closures on I-65 both directions between Dickerson Road and Trinity Lane to repair areas of the roadway.
      Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, 9AM-3PM, Shoulder closures and possible lane closures on State Route 155 (Briley Pkwy.) both directions between State Route 12 (exit 24) and I-24 (exit 18) to clean under guardrail for drainage. One lane will remain open.
Cheatham and Robertson Counties
      Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, 8AM-4PM, (excluding weekends), There will be one lane periodically closed on I-24 eastbound and westbound in Cheatham and Robertson Counties between mile marker 23 and mile marker 28 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway.  One lane will remain open. (Weather permitting)
 
THOMAS & ASSOCIATES: Thursday September 10 through Wednesday September 16, each day, 2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-24 eastbound and westbound near Waldron Rd. (Exit 64) for blasting. Local police officers will be utilized for this operation.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Utilities:  
      Sunday September 13,6AM-6PM, At the Alta Loma Bridge over I-65 at mile marker 94.0, 0.2 miles north to I-65 & Vietnam Veterans Blvd., Davidson County.  This request, by N.E.S. is to transfer eight (8) aerial lines to the new pole installations and remove one (1) line.  Nine (9) rolling stop blocks are expected. 
      Thursday September 10,7PM-6AM, On SR-1 at 4328 Harding Pike, Davidson County.  This request by, IS Engineering, is for a 6" water service tap.
      Sunday September 13,6AM-8AM, Over I-40 at Jo Johnson overpass at mile marker 16.86, Davidson County.  This request by N.E.S., is to replace existing strand and re-lashed cable.  Two (2) rolling stop blocks are expected.
      Monday September 14 through Friday September 18, 9AM-3PM, On SR-6, Franklin Road from Bradford Avenue for 3700' to Berry Road, Davidson County.  This request, by N.E.S. is for replacement of poles, anchors and conductor.  Various lane closures are expected throughout the day.
 
 
 
 
Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.
