Bicyclists to Pedal from Columbia to Nashville Spotlight Need for Adoptive Families

 Approximately 60 bicyclists will travel 65 miles from Columbia to Nashville to highlight the urgent need for adoptive families in Tennessee.

Each rider has a connection to adoption.  Riders include adoption agency staff, adoptive parents, adopted teens, Department of Children's Services staff and adoption advocates. Participating agencies include the Department of Children's Services, Harmony Adoptions, Youth Villages, Omni-Visions, Catholic Charities, Helen Ross McNabb Center, Agape, Tennessee Alliance for Children and Families, Health Connect, Camelot Care Centers and Cumberland Hall. Saturday, October 16 3:00 p.m. Arrive at Bicentennial State Park in Nashville at the Tennessee Map Plaza off James Robertson Parkway and 7th Avenue North.
