Bridge Repair Work on Interstate 240 to Close Lanes in Shelby County

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation Bridge Repair Crews will reduce I-240 from six lanes to four lanes where Poplar Avenue crosses I-240 for bridge repair each day the week of October 11.  Beginning Monday, October 11, 2010 through Friday, October 15, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. crews will close two westbound lanes each day in order to safely repair concrete underneath the bridge.
