REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Friday November 12 through Wednesday November 17, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Smith, Humphreys, Rutherford, Giles, Marshall, and Williamson Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:

Thursday, November 11 through Wednesday November 17 (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be 1 lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions between Exit 24 (Pleasant View) and Exit 19 (Adams) for vegetation removal overhanging the roadway.

Friday November 12 through Wednesday November 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:

Friday November 12 through Wednesday November 10, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, electrical service, and testing.

· I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and north of Old Hickory Blvd (MM 43 to MM 39) and between Hickory Hollow Pkwy and Waldron Rd (MM 60 to MM 64)

TDOT Utilities:

Sunday November 14, 7AM-10AM, On I-24 at the Springfield / Pleasant View Interchange, Exit 24 in Robertson County. This request, by AT&T pulling fiber optic cable over I-24. Two rolling stops blocks are expected. Police cars will be present.
Sunday November 14, 7AM-9AM, On I-24 approximately 130' north of Thompson Lane Overpass in Davidson County. This request by AT&T,for adding a fiber optic cable over existing strand over I-24.One rolling stop block is expected with four police cars.

DAVDISON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from SR 45 (OHB) to I-65:

Friday November 12 through Monday November 15, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures from the I-24/I-65 split eastbound and westbound to the Old Hickory Blvd. exit in order to perform guardrail repairs and bridge and ramp repairs.
Friday November 12, 8PM through Monday November 15, 6AM There will be one lane closed on the I-65 northbound to I-24 westbound ramp in order to perform approach slab repairs. One lane will remain open.

Saturday November 13 and Sunday November 14, 6AM-8PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound in order to perform bridge approach slab repairs.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from North of Spring St. to North of I-40:Friday November 12 through Wednesday November 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to pave the roadway, fog seal the shoulders, and install permanent pavement markings.

COFFEE COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing project from U.S. 41 (MM 105) to SR-55 (MM 111): The contractor will have nighttime lane closures on I-24 from 7:00 PM-- 6:00 AM Sunday through Thursday nights to perform paving operations. One lane will be maintained in each direction at all times. Estimated project completion date is November 2010.

MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor will be clearing, relocating utilities and installing barrier rail. The contractor will have a lane closure on I-24 East between MM 151 - 153 from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM to install portable barrier rail. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012.

HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is December 2010.

HAMILTON COUNTY, rehabilitation of the bridge on I-24 East over the U.S. 27 ramp to I-24 East (MM 177-179) and the bridge on South Seminole Drive over I-24 (MM 181-183): The contractor will have nighttime lane closures in both I-24 work zones from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM Sundays through Thursdays to perform bridge rehabilitation work. At least one lane will be maintained at all times. At the I-24 Eastbound bridge site, a traffic shift is now in place, and I-24 East traffic will utilize the marked two-lane Exit 178 off-ramp as an I-24 East detour so the contactor can perform work on the bridge deck of I-24 East over U.S. 27 North in downtown Chattanooga. This traffic shift will be in place until the project is completed. I-24 westbound traffic will not be affected. TheSouth Seminole Bridge over I-24 in Chattanooga is now reduced single-lane bridge. This one-lane operation is necessary to make repairs to the concrete deck surface of the bridge. Traffic signals have been installed at each end of the bridge to regulate the flow of traffic through the area. This one-lane traffic operation will remain in place while the repairs to the bridge are being completed. Motorists are advised to anticipate short delays when traveling through this area. Estimated project completion date is November 2010.

WASHINGTON COUNTY,I-26 East between Exits 22 and 23:On Friday, November 12, 2010, motorists should be alert for a left lane closure traveling through this area between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform emergency cable rail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.

UNICOI COUNTY, I-26 between Mile Markers 36 and 40: Motorists should be alert for lane closures during daylight hours through this resurfacing project. Motorists should expect possible delays and use extreme caution traveling through this area.

Various closures for existing six lane cross-section (arch spans and westward):
- Wednesday November 10, through Tuesday November 16: There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane closed.

- Wednesday November 10, 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.: There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane closed.
The westbound “On” ramp (Ramp IL/D) located just east of the arch spans will be closed.

REGION 3, Retracing of Pavement Markings on Interstate and State Routes:

Friday November 12 through Wednesday November 17, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations on I-40 in Smith County (MM 250-259) for striping

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 rockfall mitigation at various locations: The contractor will have a right shoulder closure in order to work on the project. Nighttime lane closures will be needed to set barrier rail to route traffic around construction activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Each lane has been narrowed to a 10 foot width. The possibility exists daily for potential traffic pacing due to rock blasting activities. Emergency lane closures on an as needed basis will be implemented during daylight hours to accommodate pothole repair. All other lane closures will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Estimated project completion date is November 2010.

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing from SR-136 (MM 287, LM 19.65) to Falling Water River (MM 292, LM 24.16): The contractor will have nighttime lane and shoulder closures on I-40 from 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM Sunday through Thursday nights to perform paving operations. One lane will be maintained in each direction at all times. Estimated project completion date is November 2010.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East and West Bridge over the Pigeon River Overflow near Mile Markers 440: Motorists should be alert for lane closures around the clock through this bridge repair project. There is a wide load detour in effect for I-40 West traffic with loads wider than 14 feet. Traffic traveling I-40 West with loads in excess of 14 feet wide must use exit 440 and follow signed detour route. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East and West Bridge over the Pigeon River between Mile Markers 445 and 447: Motorists should be alert for shoulder closures through this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

I-55, Shelby County, southbound (MM 5.5 to MM 4.9), two lanes to remain open.

I-55, Shelby County, northbound Exit 12A, to continue onto I-55 NB @ Crump, ramp shift right.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is no access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Motorists should use the Third Street Exit (Exit 7) and detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed. Motorists should use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.

Wednesday November 10 through Wednesday November 17, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be intermittent lane closures northbound (Mile Marker 8 to Mile Marker 9) in order to perform bridge construction between Bridges 1 & 2. One northbound lane will remain open.

DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair over the Mississippi River: Wednesday November 10 through Wednesday November 17: Beginning at Mile Marker 9 in Missouri and extending to Mile Marker 1 in Tennessee. There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 ramp to Old Hickory Blvd (Brentwood):Sunday November 14 through Thursday November 18, 9PM-5AM, The right lane of OHB westbound at I-65 will be closed in order to install curb and gutter.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.):

Monday November 15 through Wednesday November 17, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to relocate barrier rail and install metal bridge decking.
Friday November 12, and Monday November 15 through Wednesday November 17, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to relocate barrier rail, construct sidewalks, and install metal bridge decking.

Saturday November 13, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to work on sidewalks.

FUTURE I-69

OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21

NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

I-75

HAMILTON COUNTY, I-75 North bridge rehabilitation of the bridge over Big Spring Creek (MM 1.17 right): On Thursday, November 11 the contractor will have lane closures on I-75 NB at the I-75/I-24 split from midnight until 5:00 AM and again from 7:00 PM until 5:00 AM Friday morning for paving operations. There will also be a shoulder closure on Thursday on I-75 North at the I-75/I-24 split from 8:00 AM until noon. On Sunday through Tuesday, there will be a nighttime lane closure on I-75 North at the I‑75/I-24 split from 7:00 PM until 5:00 AM the following morning for final striping. There will be at least two lanes of traffic open at all times. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated completion date is November 2010.
