REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Monday, November 29 and Tuesday, November 30, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Humphreys, Hickman, Dickson, Rutherford, Giles, Marshall, Maury, and Williamson Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Monday November 29 through Wednesday December 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
  • Monday November 29 through Wednesday December 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for ditch cleaning. 
  • Monday November 29 through Wednesday December 1, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.

DAVDISON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from SR 45 (OHB) to I-65:Monday, November 29 through Wednesday, December 1, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures from the I-24/I-65 split east and westbound to the Old Hickory Blvd. exit in order to texture coat the parapet median wall.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:Monday, November 29 through Wednesday, December 1, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, electrical service, and testing. 
  • I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and north of Old Hickory Blvd (MM 43 to MM 39) and between Hickory Hollow Pkwy and Waldron Rd (MM 60 to MM 64)
 
REGION 3, Retracing of Pavement Markings on Interstate and State Routes:Tuesday, November 30, 9AM-2PM, There will be mobile operations on I-24 in Rutherford County (MM 70-97) for striping testing.

COFFEE COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing project from U.S. 41 (MM 105) to SR-55 (MM 111): There will be no lane closures necessary during this time period. Estimated project completion date is December 2010. 
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor will be clearing, relocating utilities and installing barrier rail. The contractor will have a lane closure on I-24 East between MM 151 - 153 from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM to install portable barrier rail. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is December 2010. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, rehabilitation of the bridge on I-24 East over the U.S. 27 ramp to I-24 East (MM 177-179) and the bridge on South Seminole Drive over I-24 (MM 181-183): The contractor will have nighttime lane closures in both I-24 work zones from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM Sundays through Thursdays to perform bridge rehabilitation work. At least one lane will be maintained at all times. At the I-24 Eastbound bridge site, a traffic shift is now in place, and I-24 East traffic will utilize the marked two-lane Exit 178 off-ramp as an I-24 East detour so the contactor can perform work on the bridge deck of I-24 East over U.S. 27 North in downtown Chattanooga. This traffic shift will be in place until the project is completed. I-24 westbound traffic will not be affected. TheSouth Seminole Bridge over I-24 in Chattanooga is now reduced single-lane bridge. This one-lane operation is necessary to make repairs to the concrete deck surface of the bridge. Traffic signals have been installed at each end of the bridge to regulate the flow of traffic through the area. This one-lane traffic operation will remain in place while the repairs to the bridge are being completed. Motorists are advised to anticipate short delays when traveling through this area. Estimated project completion date is December 2010.

UNICOI COUNTY, I-26 between Mile Markers 36 and 40: Motorists should be alert for lane closures during daylight hours through this resurfacing project. Motorists should expect possible delays and use extreme caution traveling through this area.

SHELBY COUNTY, Seismic Retrofit on the bridge on I-40 over the Mississippi River:
Various closures for existing six lane cross-section (arch spans and westward):
  • Wednesday November 24, midnight until 6:00 a.m.: There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane closed.
  • Monday November 29, 6:00 a.m. through December 1: There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane closed.

REGION IV On-Call Guardrail:Monday November 29 through Wednesday December 1, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guardrail and cable rail.
  • I-40, Shelby County, westbound Exit 1B, “Off” ramp to Danny Thomas, ramp shift right.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound Exit 2 “On” ramp to Chelsea Avenue, ramp shift left.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound Exit 16, one ramp lane to remain open, on I-240 EB to SR-385 (Bill Morris Pkwy).
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound Exit 20 “Off” ramp to Canada Road, ramp shift right.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project) No planned lane closures

REGION 3, Retracing of Pavement Markings on Interstate and State Routes:Wednesday, December 1, 9AM-2PM, There will be mobile operations on I-40 in Smith County (MM 250-259) for striping testing.

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 rockfall mitigation at various locations: The contractor will have a right shoulder closure in order to work on the project. Nighttime lane closures will be needed to set barrier rail to route traffic around construction activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Each lane has been narrowed to a 10 foot width. The possibility exists daily for potential traffic pacing due to rock blasting activities. Emergency lane closures on an as needed basis will be implemented during daylight hours to accommodate pothole repair.  All other lane closures will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Estimated project completion date is December 2010. 
 
PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing from SR-136 (MM 287, LM 19.65) to Falling Water River (MM 292, LM 24.16): The contractor will have nighttime lane and shoulder closures on I-40 from 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM Sunday through Thursday nights to perform paving operations. One lane will be maintained in each direction at all times. Estimated project completion date is December 2010.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is no access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Motorists should use the Third Street Exit (Exit 7) and detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed. Motorists should use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.
  • Wednesday November 24 through Wednesday December 1, There will be no scheduled closures.

REGION IV On-Call Guardrail:Monday November 29 through Wednesday December 1, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guardrail and cable rail.
  • I-55, Shelby County, southbound & northbound (MM 4.5 to MM 8.0), two lanes to remain open.
  • I-55, Shelby County, southbound Exit 12C, @ Metal Museum Drive, ramp shift left.


I-155
 
DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair over the Mississippi River: Monday November 29 through Wednesday December 1: Beginning at Mile Marker 9 in Missouri and extending to Mile Marker 1 in Tennessee.  There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.

 
I-65

REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Monday, November 29 and Tuesday, November 30, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Humphreys, Hickman, Dickson, Rutherford, Giles, Marshall, Maury, and Williamson Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96:Monday, November 29 through Wednesday, December 1, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-65 north and southbound between SR 96 and the bridge over the Harpeth River for paving and placement of shoulder stone in order to shift traffic. One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 ramp to Old Hickory Blvd (Brentwood):No planned lane closures

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.):
  • Monday, November 29 through Wednesday, December 1, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 north and southbound in order to relocate barrier rail and remove a bridge overhang.
  • Monday, November 29 through Wednesday, December 1, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. in order to relocate barrier rail and switch traffic to the new phase.


FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

 
I-75
