REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday November 4 through Wednesday November 10, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Wilson, Cheatham, and Sumner Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday November 4 through Wednesday November 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
  • Thursday November 4 through Wednesday November 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for ditch cleaning. 
  • Thursday November 4 through Wednesday November 10, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or outside lanes.
 
DAVDISON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from SR 45 (OHB) to I-65:
  • Thursday November 4 through Wednesday November 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures from the I-24/I-65 split eastbound and westbound to the Old Hickory Blvd. exit in order to perform guardrail repairs.
  • Friday November 5, 8PM through Monday November 8, 6AM There will be one lane closed on the I-65 northbound to I-24 westbound ramp in order to perform approach slab repairs. One lane will remain open.
  • Saturday November 6 and Sunday November 7, 6AM-8PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound in order to perform bridge parapet repairs.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from North of Spring St. to North of I-40:Thursday November 4 through Wednesday November 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to mill and pave the roadway.

DAVIDSON and RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, ITS Phase III:
  • Thursday November 4 through Wednesday November 10, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, electrical service, and testing.
·         I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and north of Old Hickory Blvd (MM 43 to MM 39) and between Hickory Hollow Pkwy and Waldron Rd (MM 60 to MM 64)
 
COFFEE COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing project from U.S. 41 (MM 105) to SR-55 (MM 111): The contractor will have nighttime lane closures on I-24 from 7:00 PM-- 6:00 AM Sunday through Thursday nights to perform paving operations. One lane will be maintained in each direction at all times. Estimated project completion date is November 2010. 
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor will be clearing, relocating utilities and installing barrier rail. The contractor will have a lane closure on I-24 East between MM 151 - 153 from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM to install portable barrier rail. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is December 2010. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, rehabilitation of the bridge on I-24 East over the U.S. 27 ramp to I-24 East (MM 177-179) and the bridge on South Seminole Drive over I-24 (MM 181-183): The contractor will have nighttime lane closures in both I-24 work zones from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM Sundays through Thursdays to perform bridge rehabilitation work. At least one lane will be maintained at all times. At the I-24 Eastbound bridge site, a traffic shift is now in place, and I-24 East traffic will utilize the marked two-lane Exit 178 off-ramp as an I-24 East detour so the contactor can perform work on the bridge deck of I-24 East over U.S. 27 North in downtown Chattanooga. This traffic shift will be in place until the project is completed. I-24 westbound traffic will not be affected. TheSouth Seminole Bridge over I-24 in Chattanooga is now reduced single-lane bridge. This one-lane operation is necessary to make repairs to the concrete deck surface of the bridge. Traffic signals have been installed at each end of the bridge to regulate the flow of traffic through the area. This one-lane traffic operation will remain in place while the repairs to the bridge are being completed. Motorists are advised to anticipate short delays when traveling through this area. Estimated project completion date is November 2010.

WASHINGTON COUNTY,I-26 East between Exits 22 and 23:On Monday, November 8, 2010, motorists should be alert for a left lane closure traveling through this area between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform emergency cable rail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.
 
UNICOI COUNTY, I-26 between Mile Markers 40 and 43: Motorists should be alert for lane closures through this bridge deck repair and resurfacing project. Motorists should expect possible delays and use extreme caution traveling through this area.

SHELBY COUNTY, Seismic Retrofit on the bridge on I-40 over the Mississippi River:
  • Various closures for existing six lane cross-section (arch spans and westward):
    • Wednesday November 3, through Wednesday November 10: There will be two eastbound and two westbound lanes closed.
  • Various closures for existing four lane section (east of the arch spans):
    • Wednesday November 3, through Wednesday November 10: There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane closed.
  • I-40 will be reduced to one eastbound and one westbound lane for traffic until November 05, 2010.
  • The westbound “On” ramp (Ramp IL/D) located just east of the arch spans will be closed.
 
REGION IV On-Call Guardrail:
Wednesday November 3 through Wednesday November 10, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guardrail and cable rail.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound Exit 2, “On” ramp from Chelsea EB to I-40 EB, ramp shift left.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound Exit 3 “On” ramp from SR-300 WB to I-40 EB, one ramp lane to remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, westbound (MM 7.5 to MM 7.2), two lanes to remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound (MM 18.6 to MM 20.1), one lane to remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound (MM 28.5. to MM 29.2), one lane to remain open.
  • I-40, Haywood County, westbound (MM 54.5 to MM 49.0), one lane to remain open.
  • I-40, Madison/Haywood Counties, eastbound & westbound (MM 64.0 to MM 78.0), one lane to remain open.
  • I-40, Madison County, westbound (MM 87.5 to MM 83.5), one lane to remain open.
  • I-40, Henderson/Madison Counties, eastbound & westbound (MM 92.0 to MM 111.0), one lane to remain open.
  • I-40, Henderson County, westbound (MM 117.5 to MM 115.0), one lane to remain open.
  • I-40, Henderson County, eastbound & westbound (MM 117.0 to MM 121.0), one lane to remain open.
  • I-40, Decatur County, westbound & eastbound (MM 122.0 to MM 134.0), one lane to remain open.
 
FAYETTE COUNTY-Re-Surfacing on I-40 Eastbound MM 27 through MM 35:Sunday November 7 through Friday November 12, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be one lane closed on I-40 eastbound and westbound, Mile Marker 27.0 through Mile Marker 35.0, for installing thermoplastic pavement markings. Tennessee Highway Patrol will assist with traffic control.

REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday November 4 through Wednesday November 10, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Wilson, Cheatham, and Sumner Counties for guardrail repair and installation.

DICKSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday November 4, 8AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on I-40 westbound between mile marker 180 to mile marker 181 (Dickson-Williamson County line) to load brush and logs next to bridge.
 
CHEATHAM COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday November 4 through Wednesday November 10, 7PM-5AM, (excluding weekends), There will be one lane periodically closed on I-40 eastbound and westbound in Cheatham County between Mile Marker 189 and Mile Marker 192 in order to patch potholes on the concrete bridge deck. One lane will remain open. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday November 4 through Wednesday November 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project) Thursday November 4, 8PM-6AM, Closure of eastbound I-40, outside lane closure at 8PM, middle lane at 10PM, inside lane to be closed after outside lane complete, one lane to remain open at all times. Closure is for restriping of I-40.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Maintenance of the ITS:
·         Friday November 5, 10:15PM-11PM, Close the right lane of I-40WB at MM208.4 for the purpose of ITS System Maintenance. Three of four lanes will remain open.
  • Friday November 5, 11:15PM-12AM, Close the right lane of I-40WB at MM 208.4 downtown (0.1mile west of Charlotte Ave bridge) for the purpose of ITS System Maintenance. This will also include the Charlotte Ave On-Ramp to I-40WB. We will shift the I-40WB traffic from Charlotte Ave On-Ramp into the right lane of I-40WB. Two of three of lanes will remain open. Work will be at Video Detection Camera on right shoulder.

WILSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Tuesday November 9, 7PM-3AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound in Wilson County at MM 235, (this is between the SR-840 and Hartman Drive exits) in order to repair bridge end with hot mix.

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 rockfall mitigation at various locations: The contractor will have a right shoulder closure in order to work on the project. Nighttime lane closures will be needed to set barrier rail to route traffic around construction activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Each lane has been narrowed to a 10 foot width. The possibility exists daily for potential traffic pacing due to rock blasting activities. Emergency lane closures on an as needed basis will be implemented during daylight hours to accommodate pothole repair.  All other lane closures will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Estimated project completion date is November 2010. 
 
PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing from SR-136 (MM 287, LM 19.65) to Falling Water River (MM 292, LM 24.16): The contractor will have nighttime lane and shoulder closures on I-40 from 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM Sunday through Thursday nights to perform paving operations. One lane will be maintained in each direction at all times. Estimated project completion date is November 2010. 
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 342 and 363:On Sunday night, November 7, 2010, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures traveling through this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.

LOUDON COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 363 and 366:On Sunday night, November 7, 2010, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures traveling through this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East and West Bridge over the Pigeon River Overflow near Mile Markers 440: Motorists should be alert for lane closures around the clock through this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East and West Bridge over the Pigeon River between Mile Markers 445 and 447: Motorists should be alert for shoulder closures through this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is no access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Motorists should use the Third Street Exit (Exit 7) and detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed. Motorists should use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.
       Wednesday November 3 through Wednesday November 10, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be intermittent lane closures northbound (Mile Marker 8 to Mile Marker 9) in order to perform bridge construction between Bridges 1 & 2. One northbound lane will remain open.
 

I-155
 
DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair over the Mississippi River:Wednesday November 3 through Wednesday November 10: Beginning at Mile Marker 9 in Missouri and extending to Mile Marker 1 in Tennessee.  There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.

REGION 3, Retracing of Pavement Markings on Interstate and State Routes:Tuesday November 9 and Wednesday November 10, 9AM-2PM, There will be mobile operations on I-65 in Giles County (MM 0-22) and on I-40 in smith County (MM 250-259) for striping testing.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-65 at the junction with SR 12 (Rosa Parks Blvd.):Monday November 8 through Wednesday November 10, 9PM-5AM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to install metal decking for the bridge.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Maintenance of the ITS:Friday November 5, 9PM-9:45PM, Close the right lane of I-65SB at MM97.6 for the purpose of ITS System Maintenance. One of two lanes will remain open.

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday November 4, 7PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-65 southbound in Robertson County between Mile Marker 110 and Mile Marker 112 in order to mill and pave to repair a pothole. One lane will remain open.
 

FUTURE I-69
 
OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21:
       NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
       NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.

HAMILTON COUNTY, design-build project from I-75 Enterprise South interchange to SR-317 (Apison Pike) at Old Lee Hwy.: The contractor is currently installing construction signs and will begin work on the bridge to connect the interchange at Exit 9 to SR-317 at Old Lee Hwy. Estimated completion date is December 2012. 
 
LOUDON COUNTY, I-75 North near Mile Marker 84 (I-75/I-40 Interchange):On Sunday night, November 7, 2010, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures traveling through this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.
