Tennessee Welcomes 28th Annual Technology Conference

NASHVILLE– The Tennessee Department of Education announces the 28th Annual Tennessee Education Technology Conference, designed specifically for school and district educational technology leaders and instructors. “Technology helps educators motivate and support our students to help them succeed in an increasingly competitive world,” said Education Commissioner Bruce Opie. “We continue to upgrade our focus on technology education by establishing and expanding our opportunities through such developments as the STEM Innovation Network and the Electronic Learning Center.”
 
Each year the conference offers opportunities for growth and development through training sessions, labs, workshops, interest sessions and peer networking. The goal is to encourage participants to integrate technology into the classroom lesson plans. The event will include a trade show with exhibits showcasing the newest technologies, related software and services of interest to the education technology market.
