REGION 3 On-Call Guardrail:Thursday December 9 through Tuesday December 14, 8PM-6AM, (each night), There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in Davidson, Hickman, Dickson, Rutherford, Giles, Marshall, Maury, and Williamson Counties for guardrail repair and installation.
 
REGION 3, On-Call Cable Barrier Repair:Thursday December 9 through Wednesday December 15, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures at various locations on interstates and state routes in order to repair cable barrier rail.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday December 9 through Wednesday December 15, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 westbound in Montgomery County between mile marker 8 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. Exit 11 is S.R. 76 Adams and Clarksville Exit, and Exit 8 is S.R. 237 Rossview Road Exit.
 
ROBERTSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday December 9 through Wednesday December 15, (excluding weekends), 9AM-4PM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-24 in both directions in Robertson County between mile marker 25 and mile marker 19 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway. One lane will remain open. This is between exit 24 (Springfield and Ashland City) and exit 19 (Adams).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday December 9 through Wednesday December 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
  • Thursday December 9 through Wednesday December 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for ditch cleaning. 
  • Thursday December 9 through Wednesday December 15, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-1AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for vegetation control. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

DAVDISON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from SR 45 (OHB) to I-65:Friday December 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures from the I-24/I-65 split eastbound and westbound to the Old Hickory Blvd. exit in order to texture coat the parapet.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Phase III:Thursday December 9 through Wednesday December 15, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-6AM, There will be periodic day and night time shoulder closures at various locations within the areas listed below in order to install devices, electrical service, and testing.
  • I-24, both directions, between Briley Pkwy and north of Old Hickory Blvd (MM 43 to MM 39) and between Hickory Hollow Pkwy and Waldron Rd (MM 60 to MM 64)

REGION 3, Retracing of Pavement Markings on Interstate and State Routes:Friday December 10, 9AM-2PM, There will be mobile operations on I-24 in Rutherford County (MM 70-97) for striping testing.

COFFEE COUNTY, I-24 resurfacing project from U.S. 41 (MM 105) to SR-55 (MM 111): There will be no lane closures necessary during this time period. Estimated project completion date is December 2010. 
 
MARION COUNTY, I-24 at Exit 152 construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridge on U.S. 72 (SR-27) including grading, drainage, and paving: The contractor will be clearing, relocating utilities and installing barrier rail. The contractor will have a lane closure on I-24 East between MM 151 - 153 from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM to install portable barrier rail. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. Flaggers and THP will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is September 2012. 
 
HAMILTON, BRADLEY, and MARION COUNTIES, I-75 / I-24 / SR-153 / SR-29 construction of an intelligent transportation system on various interstate and state routes in and near Chattanooga: The contractor will implement shoulder closures throughout this report period within the project area on weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and anytime on the weekend as part of the ITS construction. There also may be weeknight lane closures throughout the project between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nighttime weekend lane closures between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and intermittent temporary stoppages of traffic (less than 15 minutes) at various locations throughout the project area to allow the contractor to perform ITS work. THP will assist with traffic control. Estimated project completion date is December 2010. 
 
HAMILTON COUNTY, rehabilitation of the bridge on I-24 East over the U.S. 27 ramp to I-24 East (MM 177-179) and the bridge on South Seminole Drive over I-24 (MM 181-183): This project is complete pending addressing of punchlist items.  Estimated project completion date is December 2010.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, I-26 East and West between Mile Marker 14.50 and 14.60 :  On Sunday night, December 12, 2010, motorist should be alert for a left lane closure traveling through this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the following morning as crews perform emergency guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.
 
UNICOI COUNTY, I-26 between Mile Markers 36 and 40: Motorists should be alert for lane closures during daylight hours through this resurfacing project. Motorists should expect possible delays and use extreme caution traveling through this area.

SHELBY COUNTY, Seismic Retrofit on the bridge on I-40 over the Mississippi River:Various closures for existing six lane cross-sections (arch spans and westward).
  • Wednesday December 8, midnight through Wednesday December 15: There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane closed.

SHELBY COUNTY, On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair:Tuesday December 14 through Thursday December 16, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: Repairs will be made onI-40 in Shelby County, east and west bound between Exit 2/Chelsea Avenue and Exit 5/Hollywood Drive. One lane will remain open.

REGION IV On-Call Guardrail:Wednesday December 8 through Wednesday December 15, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations to repair damaged guardrail and cable rail.
  • I-40, Haywood County, eastbound (MM 45.0 to MM 55.0), one lane to remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound Exit 12C, ramp from I-240 EB, one ramp lane to remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, westbound (MM 24.0 to MM 23.0), one lane to remain open.

HICKMAN COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Monday December 13 and Tuesday December 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound between mile marker 152 and 162 in order to perform bridge inspection and core sampling on the bridges. One lane will remain open.

CHEATHAM COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:Thursday December 9 through Wednesday December 15, (excluding weekends), 7PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed periodically on I-40 in both directions in Cheatham County between mile marker 189 and mile marker 192 in order to patch potholes on the concrete bridge deck. One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TDOT Maintenance:
  • Thursday December 9 through Wednesday December 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-40 and Robertson Road Interchange:(Recovery Act Project) Friday December 10, 8PM-2AM, Closure of outside lane I-40 eastbound at the White Bridge Road off-ramp to install barrier wall.  The middle lane will be closed at 10PM.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Sinkhole Repair on I-40 at Exit 221-A (Old Hickory Boulevard):Thursday December 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 45 northbound (exit 221A) Old Hickory Blvd. in order to saw and seal concrete joints.

REGION 3, Retracing of Pavement Markings on Interstate and State Routes:Wednesday December 15, 9AM-2PM, There will be mobile operations on I-40 in Smith County (MM 250-259) for striping testing.

REGION 3, On-Call Concrete Repair:Thursday December 9 through Wednesday December 15, 8AM-4PM, The ramp at exit 258 (Carthage/Gordonsville) on I-40 eastbound will be shifted to one side in order to replace deteriorated concrete. The ramp will remain open.

PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 rockfall mitigation at various locations: The contractor will have a right shoulder closure in order to work on the project. Nighttime lane closures will be needed to set barrier rail to route traffic around construction activities. One lane will be maintained in both directions at all times. Each lane has been narrowed to a 10 foot width. The possibility exists daily for potential traffic pacing due to rock blasting activities. Emergency lane closures on an as needed basis will be implemented during daylight hours to accommodate pothole repair.  All other lane closures will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Estimated project completion date is December 2010.
 
PUTNAM COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing from SR-136 (MM 287, LM 19.65) to Falling Water River (MM 292, LM 24.16): The contractor will have nighttime lane and shoulder closures on I-40 from 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM Sunday through Thursday nights to perform paving operations. One lane will be maintained in each direction at all times. Estimated project completion date is December 2010. 
 
ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West between Mile Marker 348.70 and 353.30 :  On Wednesday night, December 15, 2010, motorist should be alert for a left lane closure traveling through this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the following morning as crews perform emergency guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.

LOUDON COUNTY, I-40 West between Mile Marker 364.00 and 366.50 :  On Wednesday night, December 15, 2010, motorist should be alert for a left lane closure traveling through this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the following morning as crews perform emergency guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East at Mile Marker 0.4 Near Ramp to I-275 N:  On Tuesday night, December 14, 2010, motorist should be alert for a left lane closure traveling through this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the following morning as crews perform emergency guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.

  • I-55, Shelby County, northbound (MM 0.0 to MM 8.0), two lanes to remain open.
  • I-55, Shelby County, eastbound (MM 11.0 to MM 12.0), two lanes to remain open.
 
SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue: I-55 is reduced to two lanes in each direction. Currently there is no access to Mallory Avenue (Exit 9) from Northbound I-55. Motorists should use the Third Street Exit (Exit 7) and detour to Mallory. Riverside Drive from Mallory Avenue to Devant Street is closed. Motorists should use the newly constructed Riverport Road extension as an alternate route.
·         Wednesday December 8 through Wednesday December 15, There will be intermittent lane closures northbound (Mile Marker 8.0 to Mile Marker 9.0) in order to perform bridge construction between Bridge 1 & 2. One northbound lane will remain open.
 
 
I-155
 
DYER COUNTY, I-155 Bridge Repair over the Mississippi River: Wednesday December 8 through Wednesday December 15: Beginning at Mile Marker 9 in Missouri and extending to Mile Marker 1 in Tennessee.  There will be one eastbound & one westbound lane closed. This work is for the re-painting of the steel structure and for concrete repairs and is a 24 hour closure.
 
 
I-65

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96:Thursday December 9 through Wednesday December 15, 8PM-5AM, and Saturday December 11, 5AM-8AM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between SR 96 and the bridge over the Harpeth River for paving and placement of shoulder stone in order to shift traffic. One lane will remain open.

OBION COUNTY-Future I-69 beginning 0.31 mile south of SR-5/SR-22 to 0.78 mile west of SR-21
  • NOW through Thursday November 3, 2011, Brevard Road near Goodyear in Union City will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location so that Brevard Road will cross over I-69. A detour route is posted.
  • NOW through Saturday September 15, 2012, Perry Browder Road between George Moss Road and Mt. Zion Road will be CLOSED for the construction of an interchange at this location. A detour route is posted. There is only one house on this section of Perry Browder Road and they will provide egress and ingress daily as the project is constructed.
 
 
I-75

HAMILTON COUNTY, design-build project from I-75 Enterprise South interchange to SR-317 (Apison Pike) at Old Lee Hwy.: The contractor is currently installing construction signs and will begin work on the bridge to connect the interchange at Exit 9 to SR-317 at Old Lee Hwy. Estimated completion date is December 2012. 
 
ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 North between Mile Marker 118.40 and 127.30:  On Tuesday night, December 14, 2010, motorist should be alert for a lane closure traveling through this area between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the following morning as crews perform emergency guardrail repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.
