TDOT Hosting Informational Community Meeting at South Doyle Middle School

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – With less than three weeks left before the closure of the Henley Bridge at 12:01 a.m. on January 3, 2011, the Tennessee Department of Transportation will host an informational community meeting at South Doyle Middle School on Tuesday, December 14 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. This will be the final community meeting regarding the project that will close the Henley Bridge from 24 to 30 months.
Meanwhile, motorists will notice portable signs posted on Broadway and Chapman Highway alerting travelers to the closure. The week of December 20, the remainder of the grounded detour signs will be installed. Overhead interstate signs will be installed after Christmas.
